Thirty-two Citizens Bank & Trust and Cochran Bank & Trust Senior Bankers left the 90 degree plus sizzling temperatures of Central Georgia on July 17th and embarked on an eleven day Cruise Tour in the 40 degree low temperatures in the beautiful state of Alaska. The group flew over 3,000 miles to Vancouver and set sail for over 1,800 more miles up the Inside Passage of Alaska. After stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Scagway, the travelers disembarked in Whittier and boarded the train for a six hour trip to Denali. The sites from the airplane, on the cruise, and in Denali defy a simple description. The seniors agreed that it was the "trip of a lifetime." After an overnight stay in Anchorage, the travelers flew back to reality and landed in Atlanta on July 28th. After a fabulous trip, the seniors were ready to get back to their Middle Georgia homes and the nearly 100 degree temperature.
